Meet Jerica Pound

Realtor of the Month - August 2020

Our Real Estate Professional of the Month for August 2020 is Jerica Pound of Jerica Pound Realty, Keller Williams Realty Mulinix. Jerica primarily works in the Norman, Moore, South Oklahoma City, and surrounding areas, but she has also done quite a lot of business in Noble, Newcastle and even Piedmont and Edmond. Prior to her career in real estate, Jerica worked in insurance for 8 years. 

“I quit insurance because I needed more flexibility with my schedule. In fact, I quit working in insurance the day I had my daughter. I always wanted to be a stay at home mom with the kids, to take care of them. Being their primary caretaker – that is the job I love most.” 

While Jerica didn’t choose insurance for her lifelong career, it has been helpful to have that knowledge as she guides her clients through the process of buying and closing on a home. Speaking of clients, Jerica works both with buyers and sellers, but finds she really enjoys working with retired couples and first-time home buyers especially. Two vastly different ends of the spectrum when it comes to clientele, but Jerica’s personality and expertise works well in either case. This is likely because she is a great listener and because she is open and honest. She may not always tell you what you want to hear, but she will tell you what you need to hear in order to ensure you get the best price for your listing or the put the best offer down on the home of your dreams.

When Jerica is not working on real estate, she serves on the P.T.A. for her children’s school. Additionally, she is a board member for the Cleveland Country Habitat for Humanity. She also enjoys working out, riding bicycles with her family, and watching movies. Jerica also loves to decorate and design and has spent her fair share of “free time” remodeling and flipping homes with her husband Jason.
